Are mini frigs and microwaves available in rooms at the resorts

Hi Tina! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having a refrigerator in our hotel room is always a plus for my family. I’m happy to report that you can always count on having a mini-refrigerator in your room when you’re a guest at any of the 25 Walt Disney World Resort hotels. They really come in handy for drinks, snacks and even left-overs.

Microwaves are not usually included in your standard room when staying at a Disney hotel. It may be possible to request a microwave, for a fee, when you book your room or check in to your hotel. I recommend calling the Disney Resort Hotel reservation line at (407) 939-1936 just to be sure.

If you are still in the process of planning your magical trip, and really want a microwave in your room, you may want to consider booking a Family Suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.  The family suites offer a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. They are also large, boasting enough space for six guests to sleep comfortably.

Did you know that Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is home to The Big Blue Pool, the biggest hotel pool on the Walt Disney Resort property? It sounds pretty refreshing to me!

Tina, I hope you have a magical vacation! Feel free to come back and see us if you have any more questions!
