A member our party is eligible for the DAS pass and has already obtained it. We have a 2 year old in our party as well who does not have a park ticket due to age. Can the 2 year old still ride rides with the person who is using the DAS pass?

    Hey there, Jessica!

I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! We absolutely love it when Guests return to us for help with their Disney vacation planning. Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is getting closer, and I can only imagine how excited you must be! Before you know it, you’ll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., taking in that unforgettable first glimpse of Cinderella Castle.

I’m so glad to hear you already have Disability Access Service (DAS) set up for your trip. It’s such a helpful accommodation, and I truly hope it makes your visit easier and more enjoyable for your family.

Since your two-year-old is under the age of three, they are considered a special guest of Mickey Mouse and do not need a theme park ticket. Because of this, they can join your DAS party without needing a ticket or being linked to your DAS group, and they’ll still be able to experience attractions right alongside the rest of your family.

Just a quick reminder: you can make your first DAS selection as soon as you scan into your first theme park. After that, you’ll be able to make additional selections about 10 minutes after scanning into an attraction, all directly through your My Disney Experience app. If you ever run into any issues or technical difficulties, just visit a Cast Member from the Guest Experience Team. You can usually spot them under the big blue umbrellas throughout the parks, and they’ll be happy to assist you.

The timing of your visit couldn’t be more perfect! Did you know that if you’re staying at a Disney Resort between May 26th and September 8th, you’ll receive complimentary water park admission on your check-in day? It’s such a fun way to kick off your vacation with a splash! My family has a trip planned for later this summer, and we’re definitely planning to take full advantage of this offer.

Jessica, I hope this information helps and that you have the very best trip! If you have any other questions, you're always welcome here at planDisney!
