Hi there - I’m trying to book a 5th sleeper room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort, and noticed the classification has changed. How do we book one of these “under the sea” type rooms now? Is it “standard” or “preferred”? Thanks!

    Hey there, Natasha!

I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! It’s always such a treat to reconnect with Guests like you, and we truly appreciate you continuing to trust us as you plan your Disney vacations. Being even a small part of your adventure means so much to us!

It sounds like you’re getting ready for a fall visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth…how exciting! Fall is one of my absolute favorite times to be there. I’m a big fan of spooky season, and Disney really knows how to do it right with festive décor, special treats, and that extra touch of magic that makes the whole experience feel even more memorable.

I love that you’re considering Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for your stay. It's such a fun and relaxing choice! The laid-back island vibes and tropical atmosphere really make it feel like a getaway within your vacation. And honestly, you just can’t beat the convenience of being right on the Skyliner route. It makes getting to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios so easy and enjoyable.

The rooms you’re referring to are in the Trinidad section of the resort, which is categorized as a standard view. While this area is a bit farther from the main lobby and dining locations, it comes with some great perks. These rooms have been recently renovated, feature fun under-the-sea theming, and are actually very close to the Skyliner station. I think it’s a great pick!

Don’t forget that staying at a Disney Resort comes with so many wonderful perks that can really enhance your visit. One of my favorites is Early Theme Park Entry, which allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes before the official opening time. That extra half hour can make a big difference and give you a great head start on experiencing some of your must-do attractions before the crowds build.

You’ll also have the added benefit of being able to purchase your Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your check-in date, all conveniently through your My Disney Experience app. Having that extra planning window can really help you secure those top attractions and make the most of your time in the parks.

Natasha, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest updates on spooky season. It’s usually the very first place new information is shared. Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,
