Hi Robert
Thank you for visiting planDisney. So happy to hear you have a Disneyland trip on the horizon. March is a great time to visit the parks. The weather is very mild and the flowers are starting to come into bloom. I am sorry that Pixie Hollow won’t be open during your trip, but I have some hopeful news.
When you visit the park, check the
Disneyland app to see where all characters will be in the park and what time they will be there. Just because
Pixie Hollow is closed does not mean you can’t see Tinker Bell. Other Neverland characters can be found in the parks as well. Captain Hook is known to walk down the Fantasyland path that goes from Pixie Hollow to “it’s a small world.” If you are lucky you may catch Peter Pan or Wendy strolling the park as well. Hopefully, with a little faith, trust and Pixie Dust, you will be able to catch Tinkerbell.
I recommend checking the Events calendar as you get closer to your trip to see if there is any change to Pixie Hollows reopening. Head to the Disneyland Parks website and click “Tickets & Parks” at the top left hand side. In the dropdown menu, you will see an option that says “
See All Hours & Events Calendar.” Here you will see the Events Calendar page. This lists the park hours, time of parades, shows, fireworks and nighttime events. If you scroll down you can click "Closed for Refurbishment" to see which attractions are closed. This section only appears when you look at the “one day” view (not the 5-Day Calendar view).
I hope this information is helpful, Robert. Sending a little pixie dust your way that you will be able to see Tinker Bell during your visit. Please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist if you have any more questions. Good luck pixie hunting!
Wishing you a magical trip and the best of luck!
