Hey there Jennifer!
A huge pixie-dusted welcome to planDisney to you... from a fellow Coloradan! It sounds like we have a lot in common. I also have a Rapunzel loving princess in my family, and this brings back such fond memories of her wearing her Rapunzel gown into the Disney Parks. It makes meeting that "signature princess" even more magical! How exciting that you'll be visiting Disney World this summer, I'll bet you're loving your awesome vacation countdown!
Magic Kingdom is going to be the place to seek a royal encounter with the adventure-loving princess, Rapunzel.
Festival of Fantasy Parade - this colorful and fun parade is absolutely fantastic, and not to be missed. There's an entire float dedicated to Tangled, complete with both Rapunzel and Flynn Rider! It's often presented twice a day, around noon and again in the afternoon, with great viewing locations anywhere along the route from Frontierland to Main Street USA.
Princess Fairytale Hall - this location is truly fit for royalty, and is where you can meet (
and hug!) some of your favorite Disney Princesses in person! The Princesses at this magical place may vary, but Rapunzel is often a beloved presence. Tiana and Cinderella each have a dedicated greeting line, along with a second "visiting princess"... whose name and photo will be posted at the front. Rapunzel is often the visiting princess in the Tiana line.
Mickeys Magical Friendship Faire - this whimsical stage show takes place multiple times during the day, in front of Cinderella Castle. It's another opportunity to see Rapunzel and Flynn in action!
This may sound silly, but be sure to include a visit to the Tangled themed bathrooms. With plenty of seating, whimsical village music, and complete with hanging lanterns... it's really an enjoyable area to take in.
Disney PhotoPass photographers are often found in this area, and can capture some truly enchanted photos for you. It's located on the path between Fantasyland's it's a small world and Liberty Square's Haunted Mansion. You can even spy Rapunzel's tower!
And last, I highly recommend using the
My Disney Experience app to find specific characters on the day of your park visit. Along the bottom, select the map icon (second from right) and then along the top menu select "Characters". You can filter by park... you never know who you will find! I bet Mickey would love to meet your princess, too.
Jennifer, I'll be wishing upon a star for you all to have the Best. Day. Ever!! Please
visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any other ideas or recommendations.
Magical memories await,
Tami
