Hi there, Natalia, and welcome to planDisney! From one Georgia girl to another, I'm so happy you've stopped by planDisney with this great question about your upcoming vacation! It will be here in just a few short weeks, and now is the time to make decisions about things like dining reservations.
Natalia, did you know you can make
Advance Dining Reservations for Walt Disney World Resort restaurants 60 days before your visit? You'll find the most availability for reservations at that 60-day mark, and some of the more popular restaurants will book quickly. If you don't find the reservation you want, please keep checking back. I have personally found some hard-to-get dining reservations the day before my visit because that seems to be when other Guests finalize their plans and cancel the ones they don't need.
To make a reservation, head to the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click the "+" button, and select "Check Dining Availability." Enter your party information, date, and time, and you'll see all available times. You can even select a range of dates if you're not set on a specific day. Having a dining reservation will allow you to park for free at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel while you dine.
Now that we've chatted about how to make a reservation, let's get into where you should dine:
- If you have an adventurous appetite, try Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This African-inspired buffet offers dishes you might not see anywhere else, as well as typical breakfast staples. After breakfast, take a stroll around the grounds and enjoy the views of the savanna, where you'll see giraffes, zebras, birds, and more having their breakfast.
- If you'd like to meet Characters, head to 'Ohana for Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch or Chef Mickey's to see Mickey Mouse himself!
- One of my favorite upscale breakfasts also includes Characters: Breakfast a la Art with Mickey and Friends at Topolino's Terrace. The wood-fired steak with eggs is the perfect way to start your day.
Natalia, I hope this is helpful to you as you make your plans for your vacation. Since you're within your 60-day window, I suggest heading to the My Disney Experience Mobile App soon to make your reservations. Please stop back by with any other questions you have!
Bon appetit!
