Hi Sadie,
Welcome back to planDisney! I hope your year is off to a magical start.
I love taking time for
Character Meet and Greets when I'm in the parks. Whether I'm visiting with my kids or even enjoying an adult-only trip with my husband or girlfriends, I always make it a priority to "say cheese" and share a fun conversation with my favorite pals. I visited with some friends a while back and we stopped in to chat with Jasmine at EPCOT. My friends were blown away by our conversation with her and I still have our group photo proudly displayed.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Gaston and Tinker Bell on past trips and they were both really fun interactions! Gaston hilariously trolled my husband's "Beast Mode" shirt while regaling us with his latest impressive adventures. We visited with him back
by his tavern a few years ago, but I've only seen him greeting guests during specially ticketed events recently. I believe he and Belle were chatting with guests in Fantasyland at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year and he was also available as a special Disney Vacation Club exclusive meet and greet on select nights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I checked the Character appearances in
My Disney Experience App, but unfortunately, I still don't see him making regular appearances during normal operating hours. I'd keep an eye on the app as your next visit approaches to see if he pops up on the schedule. I'd also recommend following
Disney Parks Blog as it shares the latest announcements on new and returning park offerings as they become available.
If you're up for a bit of travel you can
meet Tinker Bell at Pixie Hollow at Disneyland Resort. We visited her there on our last trip and she gave us a bit of grief for our pirate-inspired family attire. We promised that we weren't really part of Captain Hook's crew so thankfully she still let us pose for a few pictures. She typically appears in the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park as well, so you'll still have the chance to wave hello even if you aren't able to pose with her just yet.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we see even more exciting things at the parks this year. I'm already looking forward to the return of all-day park hopping and the chance to watch
Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT when I visit in a few weeks. It seems
there's always something fun in the works at Disney Parks, so hopefully with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, we'll get to welcome back some of our favorite characters before we know it.
Sadie, if we can answer any additional questions please come back and visit us again.
Magic and memories,
Amy
