Going meet friends at Disney. They are staying on property and purchased lightning lanes at the 7 day mark. I am able to book at the 3 day mark. No times are matching for us to ride together. If I call Disney will they be able to modify my times to match?

Welcome to planDisney, Kayla! How exciting that you'll be at the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few more days! Visiting with friends is always extra magical, and I know you'll make so many great memories together! if you haven't already, consider purchasing Memory Maker so you can capture all the photos of your time together throughout the parks and on select attractions!

Kayla, Lightning Lane passes offer a way to experience more magic with less waiting. As a benefit for guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel, eligibility for booking Lightning Lane passes opens 7 days ahead of their resort check-in date, while offsite guests can book starting 3 days before their park visit. This can make planning for a group a little tricky if some guests are onsite and some are not, but let's explore some options that might help.

Kayla, if some of your group has existing Lightning Lane selections, those selections can be modified to include new eligible guests on the My Disney Experience mobile app, subject to availability. It is possible that attractions and times that were selected in the earlier eligibility window may not be available for guests booking at a later time because they have reached capacity; if this is the case, you can continue trying to modify your existing selections or keep trying to find experiences with overlapping return times so that you can all enjoy the attractions together.

If you aren't able to align your plans exactly, consider separating from your large group to experience different attractions and then plan a meeting point to grab a meal or snack together before moving to the next experience. The good news is that once everyone has redeemed their first Lightning Lane Pass of the day, you can then select all members of your group to make your additional attraction selections, guaranteeing you'll be able to experience those things together.

Kayla, I hope this helps and I'm sending some pixie dust your way that you'll be able to overlap your plans successfully to experience all the fun with your friends! If you have any other questions before your vacation, come see us again at planDisney any time!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
