Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my very favorite Walt Disney World resorts. It's the first Disney resort I ever stayed at (when I was only three!), and all these years later, it still holds a special place in my heart. With its sophisticated vibes and spectacular views of Cinderella Castle, the Grand Floridian is
exactly what Mary Poppins would describe as
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Harold, I'm so happy to share that the Grand Floridian does indeed offer
Mary Poppins-inspired resort rooms. These gorgeous rooms include some seriously beautiful nods to the 1964 film. From the penguin chandeliers to the Cherry Tree Lane artwork, there's a spoonful of sugar in every practically perfect detail. Honestly, I've been drooling over these rooms ever since I first saw them, and I'm SO excited to be staying in one on my upcoming trip!
Now, it's important to note that this applies to Standard Resort Rooms and Resort Studios, but NOT to Deluxe Studios. I spoke with a helpful Disney Cast Member who confirmed that at this time, all Theme Park View, Water View, and Resort View rooms have been updated with the
Mary Poppins theme, but that
Club Level rooms and true suites (like the Disney Suite and the Grand Suite) have not.
I hope this information helps you choose the right room for you, Harold! Before I let you go, I also want to mention that the rooms at the Grand Floridian aren't the only place you'll find Mary Poppins around the resort!
