First of all, I love that you're thinking about the details of your trip this far in advance. I love a spontaneous Disney World trip as much as the next guy, but the truth is I'm usually plotting the particulars as soon as I possibly can!
Jocelyn, I know that planning a Disney World vacation can feel a little overwhelming, especially as a first-timer. But you've already chosen a great resort (
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is truly such a gem!), so now all that's left to do is "the next right thing."
Fortunately, booking your Disney vacation is actually really easy. First,
click here and plug in your travel dates and party details. On the next page, select Coronado Springs and then choose your room type. As you navigate the booking process, you can add your
theme park admission and
Disney Dining Plan, and view your total package price. Once you've booked your trip, go ahead and do the happy dance (YAY!), and then download the
My Disney Experience app. This will be your digital best friend as you plan your big adventure, and once you're FINALLY inside the parks!
Now, let's do a little Disney World 101. When it comes to planning, there are two important dates to remember: the day you can make
Advance Dining Reservations and the day you can purchase and select your
Lightning Lane passes.
As a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you can make Advance Dining Reservations 60 days before check-in for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days). This is also the day you can make reservations for any
Enchanting Extra Collection experiences, like
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. As for Lightning Lanes, you can purchase and plan these 7 days before check-in (again, for the length of your stay).
