Hiya, Wilson!
Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy, it looks like your Disney vacation is just around the riverbend. How exciting that you are planning a day at my favorite theme park - EPCOT. Let me help navigate this whole new world with you, Wilson.
If you have purchased a
theme park ticket that is date-based - meaning it has a start date and an expiration date usually within a short window from the start date - you will not need a theme park reservation to enter EPCOT, Wilson. You just need to double check that your theme park ticket is valid for the date you plan to visit the park.
If you have any undated ticket, including but not limited to a
Military Salute tickets,
Magic Your Way tickets, a
Disney Annual Pass, or any type of ticket that is not date-based, then you will need a theme park reservation for the date you plan to visit EPCOT. It is very easy to do, Wilson.
Just visit the
Disney theme park reservation page and select the blue button that says
"Make or Modify Reservations." You will see two boxes - one for Guests with tickets or Annual Passes without a Disney Resort Hotel reservation and one that is for Annual Passholders WITH a Disney Resort Hotel reservation. Select which one applies to you.
If your ticket is not linked to your My Disney Experience account, you will need to link it here. If it is already linked to your account, then it will let you know if a theme park reservation is required. If it is, you can select the date and park you plan to visit (in your case EPCOT) and as long as the park has open availability for reservations, you'll be able to make your reservation here. The system is quite smart, so if your theme park ticket does NOT require a theme park reservation, it will let you know and you do not need to do anything further. And that's it!
Now, when you visit EPCOT Wilson, I recommend stopping by
Connections Cafe and checking out the unique Tree Cakes. Not only are they delicious, but this unique Japanese treat is fascinating to learn about and watch as it is being made.
I hope this helps you, Wilson! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, soar back here to see me. I'll be right here, at the second star to the right and straight on til morning.
Magically Yours,
Keri
