Welcome to planDisney and thanks for submitting your question to us. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some technical issues with your
MagicBand+. I am a tech geek, so I love bringing my MagicBand+ to the Disneyland Resort whenever I visit. It's a little tough to know what's going on with your specific Band but I'll try and troubleshoot with you as best I can.
Have you already downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App? If you see the solid green light, we know that it can charge. In order to
pair it with your phone, you need to tap it to the back of the phone after it is turned on. This will bring you to the Disneyland Mobile App and you'd then follow the instructions within the App to link the MagicBand+ to your MyDisney account and assign it to a ticket or pass (remember that each Band can only be assigned to one ticket).
If that isn't working for you, check to make sure your Disneyland Mobile App is up to date. You can follow the
Support instructions to Power the Band Off and back On again. Finally, a factory reset is done by pressing the button once, releasing, then quickly pressing again and holding for 15 seconds. Believe me, this feels a lot longer than it is.
If none of these tips work, I would recommend bringing your MagicBand+ to a Cast Member when you're at the Disneyland Resort for support since you'll be there soon. It'll be much easier to troubleshoot when they have the Band in front of them and can test it for you.
