Magicband+ chargers, they don’t sell on line any more and someone on social media said you can no longer get in stores? Were can I get replacements?

Hi Brian! I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! As your neighbor from Rhode Island, I hope you’re staying warm and safe during this blizzard we’re powering through. Days like this definitely make me think of Elsa insisting that “the cold never bothered her anyway”… but I have to admit, I’m much more of a sunshine-and-palm-trees kind of person!

With snow piling up outside and icy winds whipping around, dreaming about a warm, blue-sky day at Walt Disney World feels extra magical. There’s just something about trading snow boots for sandals and hot cocoa for a Dole Whip that makes the countdown even sweeter. Knowing you have a sunny vacation on the horizon must make this winter weather a little easier to handle. I bet you’re more than ready to swap snowflakes for fireworks and castle views!

I absolutely love MagicBand+! It’s such a fun way to feel even more immersed in the magic. And let’s be honest, it’s a pretty cute accessory, too. I may or may not have collected a few designs to coordinate with different outfits!

While your MagicBand+ will still work for basic features without a charge, the interactive elements, like the lights, vibrations, and sounds, do require it to be powered up. If you find yourself needing a replacement charger, you can often purchase one at select retail locations throughout the parks and resorts. I’ve most commonly spotted them on the spinning accessory displays near the MagicBand+ merchandise, especially in the Disney Resort gift shops. Since availability can vary, I’d recommend checking there first.

And if you’re having trouble locating one, just ask a Cast Member; they’re always happy to help point you in the right direction!

Brian, I hope this information helps as you get ready for your trip! Stay safe and cozy during this storm, and let those thoughts of warm sunshine and magical moments carry you through. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!

Wishing you blue skies and sunshine,
