Royal greetings, Kirsty!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us a fabulous
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm overjoyed to hear you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth
so very soon! Your holiday is just days away. I'm sure you're buzzing with excitement! Let's chat about your transportation options during your visit before the clock strikes midnight.
Kirsty, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised by just how easy it is to zip between the theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. In my opinion, the quickest and most convenient way to get from Magic Kingdom Park to EPCOT would be by using the
Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System. Simply catch the Express Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), then transfer to the EPCOT Monorail. You'll be delivered directly to the main entrance at EPCOT in no time! The Express Monorail operates until approximately one hour after Magic Kingdom Park closes, while the EPCOT Monorail ends operation approximately two hours after EPCOT closes. (If one theme park is offering
extended evening hours one night, the "closing time" is the time that the extended evening hours end.)
If you're in need of an even speedier transfer from Magi Kingdom Park to EPCOT, you could always hire
Disney Minnie Van service to get the job done, Kirsty! This paid personal rideshare service will pick you up from and deliver you to any two points within the Walt Disney World Resort for a small fee. You can use the Lyft mobile app to evaluate this option! It's important to note that third-party rideshare services can't pick up or drop off Guests at the main entrance to Magic Kingdom Park. (Instead, they drop off and pick up at the Transportation and Ticket Center.) However, with Disney Minnie Van service, you'll be picked up or dropped off
right at the main entrance near the bus stops!
Kirsty, I hope this information serves you well as your carriage departs for your enchanting escape! If you have any additional questions about your upcoming holiday, you're always welcome to revisit us here at
planDisney. Just like your personal Fairy Godmother, we're here and ready to help you make magical memories during your Disney Parks vacations!
Bibbidi bobbidi boo,
Lauren
