Hi Chimborazo!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I’m happy to help you navigate the Walt Disney World transportation system on your upcoming vacation.
Staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel at Walt Disney World and using the shuttle service to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) is a super easy and convenient way to get to the theme parks. From the TTC, here’s how you can reach the various parks:
Magic Kingdom Park: The quickest way to reach Magic Kingdom is by taking the
Monorail from the TTC. The monorail ride provides a scenic and direct route to the park. You also have the option to choose a leisurely ferryboat ride across the
Seven Seas Lagoon to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT: From the TTC, you can take the monorail directly to EPCOT.
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom via monorail or ferryboat, you can catch a
Disney bus from the Magic Kingdom bus stop to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The buses are located just outside the entrance to Magic Kingdom. Follow the signs or ask a friendly Cast Member to guide the way.
If you prefer a more direct route or are short on time, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, which can take you directly from your hotel or the TTC to the parks.
All Walt Disney World guests are welcome (and encouraged!) to use the monorail, bus system, watercraft, and the Disney Skyliner, not just guests staying onsite. Disney’s complimentary transportation options make it easy to make your way around The Most Magical Place on Earth! My family always makes it a goal to use every type of transportation when we visit Walt Disney World. My very favorite is
traveling by watercraft – the routes are scenic, and I love the cool breezes as we zip across the water! Also, my husband uses a wheelchair, and it makes my heart happy that all modes of transportation are accessible to him, minus a few of the smaller boats.
I hope this information is helpful! Enjoy your magical day exploring Walt Disney World!
