    When are Magic Keys coming back ? Will they be available this year? I need 3 Inspire keys and a fourth one in 2025. If not if I buy 5 day park hoppers and keys go on sale can I trade those for magic keys? Thank you

    Thanks for coming to us with your question about Magic Key Passes. I've been a Magic Key Holder since the program first began and I've been really happy with how it's been going. Some of my favorite souvenirs from the Parks have been special Magic Key merchandise, which makes it feel so special.

    I'm afraid that I don't have any definitive answers for you. We get a lot of questions about Magic Key sales but it's unpredictable at best and we never know when sales will resume again. My best recommendation would be to follow the Disney Parks Blog and the Magic Key Instagram account for updates. They will usually announce upcoming sales events through these accounts. 

    If you do purchase standard Theme Park Tickets before your visit (which is not a bad idea so you can secure those park reservations), the good news is that they'll never lose their value. Even though they're not refundable, tickets may be upgraded to a Magic Key Pass if they are available. Just keep in mind that wholly unused tickets must be upgraded in person at the ticket booths. Otherwise, you may use the Disneyland Mobile App to make the upgrade during your visit. 

    Whatever happens, I wish you a festive and magical Holiday visit to the Disneyland Resort! It's the most beautiful time of year there and I love seeing all the decorations. I especially love A Christmas Fantasy Parade and humming that tune long after Santa's sleigh has passed! Don't forget that Tiana's Bayou Adventure is opening on November 15, 2024, so you'll get a chance to be among the first to experience it!
