I have a lunch reservation at Boma at the Animal Kingdom resort one of the days at my visit, and will be visiting Animal Kingdom afterwards. Can I park my car at the resort while I dine there and then take the bus to the park? And pick up my car later?

    Hi Sara,

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite hangouts because the food is fabulous and the vibes are hard to beat. It is so relaxing and tranquil, especially in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.

I am excited to see that you were able to score a reservation at Boma. The food there is delicious and I love that the buffet allows you to try so many different things that you may not have ordered on your own. It has something for everyone so you can be as adventurous or safe in your meal choice as you feel comfortable with. Make sure that you grab one of the Zebra Domes from the dessert buffet while you are there. They are an iconic dessert that should not be passed up!

Unfortunately, parking at the hotels is extremely limited. The expectation is that you are parking for a dining reservation only and will only be onsite at the resort hotel for the length of the reservation. I try to make sure that I leave the resort hotel parking within 3 hours to comply with this rule. My recommendation would be to park at Disney's Animal Kingdom and then instead of walking through the entrance to the theme park, turn to the left and grab a bus over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a super quick bus ride and then when you finish for the day, your car will be much closer.

    Happy Planning
