Is luggage transfer available to/from the Swan Resort I am planning a split stay and I am curious if I can luggage transfer to Swan or if I need ride share to move everything.

Hello Clare and welcome to planDisney!

I love the location of the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and its pal Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel! Disney's BoardWalk area is such an amazing place to call home with the easy access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Clare, since the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is a Marriott resort and I had heard dueling answers to this question, I contacted two Cast Members to confirm the answer to this question.  The answer is a good one! Both Cast Members, including the front desk at the Swan, confirm that they do offer the transfer of your luggage between the Swan and the other Disney Resort Collection hotels! You will need to get your luggage down to Bell Services at the Swan on your departure date, and they will take care of the rest! I do recommend taking a phone photograph of your claim ticket, so you have a backup, just in case! That will come in handy one time in your life, believe me! Then, like Lightning McQueen, ka-chow, you are off to your amazing day at the theme park of your choice!

When you finish your day and arrive back at your new resort, the luggage can either be picked up at Bell Services, or you can just head to your room and give them a call, and they will deliver your bags directly to your new Disney home!

Clare, I really love a split stay! Your first adventure was on Disney’s BoardWalk and the second part of your magical stay has me dreaming of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge with that spectacular lobby and rustic feel! It has me going wild for a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with the wildlife roaming just outside your door! And it has me dreaming of one of the classics, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, with the Monorail zipping right through the middle of the action!

Clare, have a great split stay and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
