Hi! I LOVE this panel! So much info!!! My sons and I are planning on going to WDW December 2009 and we've been wondering if WDW will be changing Tom Sawyer Island over to Pirate Island like they did at Disneyland. Does anyone know? It was so cool at DL!

Walt Disney World has not publicized any information about a rethemeing of Tom Sawyer Island. If you'd like to keep on top of changes happening at WDW prior to your trip, there are several good sources of information.

I would subscribe to the weekly or monthly newsletters at the sites allearsnet.com and themouseforless.com. These are reliable sites that have all the latest scoop on what's new at WDW. Another wonderful source of information about WDW are the many podcasts about this topic. Panelist Bret does a great job of describing these HERE.

Between the newsletters and a podcast or two, you'll definitely be kept up to date if anything does happen at Tom Sawyer Island.
