Sean from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been looking to get a reservation at goofy kitchen for 9/11 but since the date became available the online reservation system it’s saying there are not times available. I was wondering if the restaurant was booked out or closed during that time.

    Hey there, Sean!

Welcome to planDisney! It's awesome to have you join us as you get ready for your Disneyland Resort trip in California this September. Goofy’s Kitchen is one of my all-time faves! My hubby can’t get enough of the chilaquiles, and I’m head over heels for the eggs benedict at breakfast. And let's face it, Mickey-shaped waffles are practically magic on a plate!

Alright, let's get you all set for your Disney feast!

Goofy’s Kitchen is as popular as Olaf in summer, so snagging a reservation is key. You can book your spot 60 days in advance. I tried to book tables for 2 and 4 guests for September 11th and got the same “no availability” message as you. This could mean a few things: either all the tables were swooped up by hungry guests faster than Lightning McQueen, the restaurant might be cooking up a new spooky menu for Halloween that hasn't been revealed yet, or reservations just haven't opened yet. Some popular spots like to open reservations closer to the date.

My advice is to be like Dory and just keep swimming back to that reservations page in the upcoming weeks!

Well, in the immortal words of King Scar, I hope this helps you “Be Prepared!" for the moment a tables open up, Sean! If you need more tips or have more questions as you continue to plan, just reach out to me again – I’m here to help.

    Your pal,
    Danielle
