Hi we are looking at purchasing annual passes when we get to wdw in May, we got a price when we were there in February but we wanted to know what payment options are there, we usually take cash and use Revolut.

    Hi Clare!
    Welcome back to planDisney.

Thank you for asking this question as I know details about tickets and payment options can be a little confusing.

I'm very happy to hear that you are thinking of buying an Annual Pass as this can be very good value if you are planning several holidays to Walt Disney World, or even a very long stay!  Isn't that the dream?

You may use several payment options to buy your Annual Pass in the United States.  Credit and Debit cards are accepted, along with Disney Gift Cards, and cash in US$.  Your Revolut debit card should be fine (in fact I've just put my Revolut card into my travel bag for my next Walt Disney World trip!).

You can buy your Annual Pass at a Ticket Window at any Disney theme park or water park.   If you are planning to visit Disney Springs on your first day or so, you can also buy tickets at the Ticket Center located at Town Center.   Alternatively, once you set foot in the US you can buy your ticket online via the website: www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/ - if you do this you will receive a pass certificate which has to be exchanged for a valid pass before your first use of the ticket - again, a Cast Member at any Ticket Window can help you with this.

For an online transaction, you could use your cash to buy a Disney Gift Card (available at Disney Resort hotels, and select locations throughout Walt Disney World), and then use the gift card to make your online ticket purchase - whichever method suits you best.

It's worth noting that Annual Passes are not currently being sold in the UK, so our 14-Day Magic Ticket cannot be upgraded to an Annual Pass, nor can it be upgraded to any Annual Pass currently being sold in the United States.

Please come back and visit us again if you have any more questions! We are very happy to help.
