Hi, we are looking to go to Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studio's, there will be 3 of us. Should I get any add on passes for short lines, this will be the first week of March. Thank you, David

Welcome to planDisney, David! It sounds like you're gearing up for an amazing trip. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are two of my favorite parks and the beginning of March is always a lovely time of year to visit.

Whether or not to purchase Lightning Lane really depends on how you like to experience the parks. If your idea of a perfect day is hitting as many attractions as possible and minimizing wait times, then Lightning Lane is always a great idea!

If this were me, I'd definitely purchase Lightning Lane for Hollywood Studios. There are so many high-demand attractions like Slinky Dog Dash, Tower of Terror, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, so being able to cut down the wait for a few of those lines can really help maximize your day. For Animal Kingdom, I personally find it manageable without Lightning Lane since I love spending time on the animal trails, watching shows, and soaking up the ambiance. But, if your priority is hitting major attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest with minimal wait, Lightning Lane could still be helpful there too!

One more tip: if you decide to skip Lightning Lane for Animal Kingdom, plan to rope drop and head straight to Flight of Passage or Kilimanjaro Safaris for the shortest wait times. Then, use the afternoon to enjoy the shows, exhibits, and a trip to Nomad Lounge without feeling rushed. Either way, you're in for an incredible Disney adventure!

    Have a magical day, David!
