Hi Heather! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of the services provided for eligible Guests, which helps make Disneyland Resorts more accessible. Disneyland Resort is committed to inclusivity and works to make the parks a welcoming place. To this end, in addition to DAS, Disneyland Resort also offers other services and helpful guides for Guests with
disabilities that you might find useful as you plan your visit. For example, there's a tab for neurodivergent Guests, which includes helpful information. I've visited with friends and family with disabilities who utilized various services during our time in the parks, and it always made our trips that much easier. That means a lot when life presents daily challenges!
It's a great idea to register in advance. You'll need to have a live
video chat with a helpful Cast Member. You're currently in the window for that conversation to occur, so I'd recommend taking care of this detail as soon as you can. The Cast Member can assist you not only in determining eligibility but also in recommending any additional services that might be useful for your family. Bring any questions you might have to the conversation. Cast Members are always happy to help in any way they can!
I'd suggest looking over the
Sensory Experience Details guide, which I've used previously. My uncle is a disabled veteran and knowing in advance about flashing lights or loud sounds helped us tailor our day to avoid certain Attractions if need be. This guide might help you plan which Attractions are better suited to your family too.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
