Hi! I am looking to book some services that the Grand Floridian spa. Can I make reservations 60 days before my first night at the resort or do I have to wait until 60 days from the day I am looking to book the reservation at the spa?

Hey there, Andrea, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with this question about relaxing in Walt Disney World!

Whenever people tell me that you "can't" relax in Disney World, I immediately launch into a monologue about all the ways you can (and should!) relax in The Most Magical Place on Earth. From rest days and pool breaks to quiet corners of the theme parks, I'm always amazed that a place as bustling and lively as Disney World can offer so many ways to slow down!

Andrea, I look at my Disney vacations as just that - a vacation. Truth be told, I'm not really a rope drop to park-close kind of girl. My everyday life is busy enough, so I love finding ways to unwind. Which is exactly why I squeeze in a visit to The Grand Floridian Spa any chance I get!

Now, I'm really glad that you're thinking ahead, because in Disney World, reservations are always a good idea! It sounds like you already know that as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel guest, you can make Advance Dining Reservations and reservations for most Enchanting Extras experiences 60 days before check-in. However, The Grand Floridian Spa is a rare exception.

Thinking back to my last visit, I was almost positive I had to wait until 60 days before my appointment date to make my reservation. But I wanted to be absolutely-positively-100% sure, so I checked in with a Disney Cast Member who confirmed that this is the case. Fortunately, I've never had trouble getting an appointment, even when I waited a little longer, so I don't think the wait will set you back too much! When the time comes, remember that you can book online right here.

Andrea, The Grand Floridian Spa is one of my favorite places in Disney World, and it just so happens to be located at my very favorite resort! So after your spa service, I hope you'll explore Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Be sure to stop by Enchanted Rose for a bite and a cocktail. It's the perfect way to top off your practically perfect day!

I hope this helps, Andrea, and that your upcoming visit to Disney World is both magical and relaxing. If you have any other planning questions, feel free to write me directly. I'm always happy to help!

    Faith, trust, & pixie dust,

    Allison
