Howdy, Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!
I hope you packed your Minnie ears, my friend, because your visit to Walt Disney World is just around the corner! There's always so much excitement in those last few days before a Disney vacation. I'm always counting down the seconds until I get a DOLE Whip in my hand!
Rebecca, my family absolutely loves
Disney's Beach Club Resort. Whether it's your home away from home or you're just popping by for a visit, those laid-back beachy vibes are always a welcome reprieve from the parks.
Now,
Cape May Cafe has been a staple for my family for going on a decade. While we usually visit for breakfast (to hang out with our Disney pals, of course!), the dinner buffet offers a seafood feast even Moana would approve!
Unfortunately, it's not generally advisable to bring outside adult beverages to a Disney World restaurant. This is because most restaurants serve their own alcoholic drinks and aren't considered BYOB. To be sure, I checked with a Disney Cast Member who confirmed that Cape May Cafe does not offer corkage service. They said this would be at the discretion of restaurant management, and that you can ask a Cast Member at the Front Desk of your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call ahead and ask on your behalf. Of course, Cape May Cafe also offers its own wine list, which you can check out
right here.
If you're on the hunt for a specific wine, I highly suggest checking out the wine lists at
California Grill,
Wine Bar George, and
Jiko - The Cooking Place. I've had the pleasure of dining at all three of these restaurants, and they all have incredible food
and extensive wine lists!
I hope this helps, Rebecca, and that your upcoming visit is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other questions as you finalize your plans, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney!
Magic awaits,
Allison
