I am looked for my waitlit information and if There is anything else available

Hi Meredith, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Being a Disney Vacation Club Member means having the ultimate flexibility when it comes to how we want to do Disney vacations. I love being able to use Vacation Points at any DVC Resort, for any room type, and at any time of year! Now let’s dive into your question on waitlists!

When you create a waitlist, you have the option to have the request expire at either 31 days or 7 days prior to your check-in date. So if you no longer see any waitlists in your dashboard on the DVC website, you may have selected the option to have a waitlist expire 31 days prior to your check-in. The 31-days option exists because cancellations of any reservations using Vacation Points less than 30 days before your check-in date will move those Vacation Points into a holding account.

Since you’re currently less than 30 days from your anticipated check-in date, I’d suggest to keep looking for reservations on the DVC website until you find availability. You may also want to expand your search to 1-bedroom villas as that room type may have the most availability this close to your travel dates. Additionally, you may want to consider resorts such as Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney’s Old Key West Resort. These DVC Resorts are some of the largest Resorts at Walt Disney World and will have the most chances for having available villas.

Finally, you may want to check Walt Disney World’s special offers page. I find that sometimes when there are good deals for another Resort that it’s better to save our Vacation Points towards a different trip and book a trip at a non-DVC Resort instead. Or better yet, do a split stay across two different resorts through a combination of cash bookings and using our Vacation Points for rooms that are available.

Meredith, I’m wishing you all the pixie dust that you’re able to find availability for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions on making the most of your DVC membership or Disney vacations in general, feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
