Welcome to planDisney, Laura!
One of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World vacation is the challenge of navigating my way around. Do I choose the scenic route, soaking in the magic along the way? The fastest route, maximizing my time in the parks? The most comfortable route, where I can relax and enjoy the ride? Or the most reliable route, ensuring a smooth journey? There’s something incredibly satisfying about crafting and executing the perfect transportation plan.
The time it takes to travel from EPCOT to
Magic Kingdom Park depends on your chosen mode of transportation. Here's a breakdown of options:
1. Walt Disney World Monorail System
Take the Monorail from EPCOT to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). At the TTC, transfer to the Magic Kingdom Park Monorail. This will take you approximately 30-45 minutes, including transfer time.
2. Disney Bus
There are direct buses are available from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom Park. This will take you around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic and wait times for the bus.
3. Personal Car or Rideshare
You can drive from EPCOT to the Magic Kingdom parking lot, then take the monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom Park. Driving takes 10-15 minutes, however, you'll need to factor in additional time for parking and the secondary transport to the Magic Kingdom entrance (another 15-30 minutes).
My favorite route would be the monorail, however, if you're looking to get there as quickly as possible, you'll probably want to take the bus.
I hope that's helpful, Laura. If you have any more questions about your trip, you know where to find us. Happy planning!
