Hello, we will be traveling to Disney World in Summer 2025 with family but are staying off site at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We will have our 3 year old with us and we wonder what is the best way to get to and from the parks other than renting a car?

    Hi Jill,

Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to see Guests return to us with important Disney vacation planning questions. Helping families like yours create unforgettable memories is what we’re here for, and I’m happy to assist with your upcoming summer trip in 2025.

The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek is a fantastic choice for your stay! As a Walt Disney World Official and Gateway Hotel: Bonnet Creek, it offers a convenient location near the parks. However, it’s worth noting that this resort doesn’t have all the transportation benefits provided to Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, such as complimentary buses, monorails, boats, and the Disney Skyliner. That said, once you have reached a theme park or find yourself at a Disney Resort, you can use these services, Hakuna Matata! To better answer your question, I did a little research for you, and I’m happy to share that your resort does offer a shuttle service to the Disney theme parks.

To access the shuttle, make your way to the Lower Lobby of your hotel. After exiting the elevators, pass the spa, continue past Tesoro Cove, and head into the meeting space hallway. Walk through the Grand Foyer and exit through the double doors at the end of the hallway, just beyond Journey B and the Ponce de Leon Ballroom. The bus stop is located right outside. For the most accurate information about the shuttle schedule, you can check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on your resort’s website, conveniently located at the bottom left of the main page. While the current schedule is for January, you’ll receive an updated version at check-in. I also recommend reviewing the details in the FAQ section about finding the shuttle pick-up locations at the Disney theme parks to ensure a smooth return trip to your resort. Another option is to utilize a ride-sharing service like Lyft or Uber. All Theme Parks have a ride-share drop-off and pick-up location for Guests to access the parks, so if the shuttle service offered by your resort doesn’t work with your timing, you can hop on the app of your choice and book your private chariot.

I hope this information helps you feel confident about navigating to and from the parks during your stay. If you have additional questions, feel free to make like Tarzan and swing back to planDisney.com, where our panelists are ready and eager to help with your vacation planning needs.

    See you real soon!
