Will the new Multi Pass and Single Pass Charges be charged to my card at the time of purchase or on the day I check out? Will I be charged for everyone on my family and friends list that I'm booking rides for?

    Hi Haleigh!

Welcome to planDisney!  I see you are just about ready to start your vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!  With the new Lightning Lane passes releasing just as you begin your trip, you have a few extra Donald Ducks to get in a row.  Hakuna Matata!  Let's take a look at how to purchase and pay for your Lightning Lane passes!

Haleigh, Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass will be available beginning July 24, 2024.  Selecting, purchasing, and modifying your Lightning Lane passes can all be managed in your My Disney Experience Mobile App.  Before making your selections, you'll want to ensure your travel party is linked to your Family and Friends List.  Your selected payment method will be charged at the time of purchase and Lightning Lane passes are non-refundable, but attraction selections can be modified (based on availability) after purchase.  Similarly to Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering and previous services like Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes, you will be charged for anyone in your party included in your purchase and cannot split payment within the app.  Typically any purchases made within the app will generate a receipt to the email on file.  This may be helpful if you need to collect money from others in your group after making your Lightning Lane purchases.

Once Lightning Lane passes are released on July 24th, you'll be able to make your pre-arrival selections and purchases up to seven days before check-in for the entire length of stay (up to 14 days) if you're staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or other select resorts and three days before you park visit if you're staying elsewhere.  As a reminder, Virtual Queues will continue to be available for select attractions which currently include TRON Lightcycle / Run, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.  The process for joining the Virtual Queue will remain unchanged with your first chance to join starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your theme park visit.

Haleigh, whether you're flying to a galaxy far, far away on Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run or traveling up to the Arendelle on Frozen Ever After, I hope you enjoy every moment of your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
