Hippity-Hoppity, Rhonda!
Easter is on its way and so is your magical vacation! What a great time to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. There is so much going on during
spring at Walt Disney World Resort. I fully understand your egg-citement to see the
chocolate Easter eggs display and the Grand Cottage. They are stunning, springtime displays and such testaments to the talent of Disney pastry chefs. I am not sure if I can pick a favorite this year. The Alice in Wonderland one is so intricate, the Sword in the Stone one boasts incredible painting and the Disney Snacks one is my favorite topic. Who am I kidding--they are all egg-cellent! Not only are there chocolate eggs on display at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, but there are also displays at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
While Disney has stated that the last day for the Grand Cottage is April 1st, I wasn't able to get an answer on the end date of the Easter egg displays. When I inquired, I was told they are just "for a limited time." If you really want to see them, I would suggest trying to fit a visit into your schedule either Easter day or the next day. I am not sure how long the displays will egg-stend past that.
Speaking of eggs, I also recommend the Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt as part of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. You'll look for colorful eggs hidden throughout EPCOT, mark them on your map as you find them and return the map for a special prize once you're finished. (Subject to availability.)
I hope your visit is super hoppy and filled with reasons to shell-ebrate, Rhonda! If there is anything else we are able to help you with, please let us know. We are all ears!
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
