Hi Kylie!
Thanks for "hopping" back over to planDisney! I always love it when we can celebrate something extra special on our vacation - whether it's a holiday or a special occasion!
Kylie, I'm sure your family wants to see the Easter bunny hop down the bunny trail to
Disney's Old Key West Resort so he can deliver his treats. Walt Disney World Resort does offer
In-Room Floral and Gift deliveries which are available to order online. I took a quick peek and saw that there are some special Easter offerings currently available for guests! If these options aren't quite what the bunny had in mind for your family, you may be interested to know that
packages can be shipped to your resort ahead of your arrival. When sending, be sure the package includes the mailing address for your resort and lists your name, the word "Guest," and the date of your arrival. There is a small handling fee for this service and you'll be able to pick up your package upon arrival or have it delivered to your room.
While you're visiting, there are some great Easter activities you won't want to miss.
The Grand Cottage has returned this year at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Here you'll find beautifully decorated chocolate eggs prepared by the talented culinary team. While these are actually too pretty to eat, you'll be happy to know that you'll find plenty of other tasty treats available to purchase on your visit. You can also find creative egg displays at
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and
Disney's Beach Club Resort.
Another great spot for springtime fun is the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Here you'll find gorgeous topiaries and delicious food. I always like to check out the
Foodie Guide before visiting an EPCOT festival so I can make a plan to snack my way around the world! There's even an Easter Egg-stravaganza Hunt where kids of all ages can search EPCOT for hidden eggs. Scavenger hunt maps can be purchased at several retail locations and then returned to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler to receive a special prize for completing!
Over at
Magic Kingdom Park, I've seen a short Easter parade and opportunities to meet Mr. and Mrs. Bunny in the past! Make sure to check your
My Disney Experience Mobile App during your visit for the latest updates on if and when these may be returning this year.
Kylie, I hope you enjoy an egg-cellent visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by to see us again if there are any other vacation planning questions you have for me or my panelist pals here at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Kristi
