How to I load my reservations and magic bands to the app?

Hello Susan and welcome to planDisney!

You must be like Goofy and are doing the hot diggity dog dance in anticipation for your upcoming trip!  Let’s get those MagicBands and reservations loaded up on your My Disney Experience so you can look at them every day like I usually do before my trip!

Let’s start with your MagicBand. Sign into your My Disney Experience mobile app account and tap on the three lines in the bottom corner (the menu button). You will need to scroll down to MagicBands & Cards. Check to see if your MagicBand is listed and it is active.  If it is not, tap “Link Your MagicBand or Card”. Follow the instructions and you will be able to link your MagicBand!

Susan, now let’s link your reservation! Same starting formula, sign into your My Disney Experience, tap on the menu button and scroll down to Hotel Reservations. Tap that link, and you will scroll down to a Resort Reservation spot where you can enter your confirmation number and the last name on your reservation.  This should load your information onto your plans!

If you are having any problems along the way, don’t hesitate to call the Disney reservations phone line and a friendly Cast Member will help you with your MagicBand and linking your reservation.

Susan, there are so many fun things going on right now at Walt Disney World, you are taking your trip at a perfect time!  I’m exciting to take a ride on the new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that will be opening to Guests on May 26, 2026! Electric Mayhem will be rocking the tunes and Kermit, and the gang will be racing to get you to the show on time! Buckle up and enjoy it!

Susan, it won’t be long before your magical adventure begins, have a great time! Don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
