Bonjour! Good day! How is your family, Rebecca!
Bienvenue à planDisney! I’m so glad you found us on your quest for the perfect runDisney race. I was right there with you for those late 2010s Disneyland Paris Half Marathons, and I proudly earned my Castle to Chateau Challenge medal after crossing the finish line. Those races held a special place in my heart, and I returned each year, eager to make it a tradition. There was something truly magical about running through the beautiful parks while soaking in that perfect mix of pixie dust and international adventure!
However, life has a way of changing, and
just like the seasons at the Disney Parks, sometimes plans take a detour. Unfortunately, the pandemic in 2020 brought a halt to the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon, and as of now, there are no plans for its grand return. I wish I had better news, but at this time, there’s no update on the
runDisney website about future events at Disneyland Paris. But, as we know from Disney magic, never stop dreaming—you never know when a surprise could pop up like our friend
Tigrou!
As for the runDisney virtual races, I checked in with my pal,
Panelist Lauren M., who’s a seasoned runDisney expert. She let me know that, unfortunately, virtual race registration is currently only available to runners in the USA, and there aren’t any international options for those of us in the UK just yet. I know this may not be what you were hoping for, but I’m crossing my fingers for changes in the future!
On a brighter note, there’s still so much excitement happening at Disneyland Paris! If you haven’t visited recently, you’re in for a treat.
Avengers Campus has opened its doors at
Walt Disney Studios Park, and the
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is now welcoming guests in true superhero style. Plus, there’s something spectacular on the horizon —
World of Frozen is set to debut in 2026, offering a brand-new themed area to explore! There’s always magic waiting around every corner at Disneyland Paris.
I know this might not be the update you were hoping for, Rebecca, but I promise there are still countless reasons to return to
the most beautiful Disney castle on Earth. I hope you’ll come back and
visit me again the next time you're looking for tips. After all, “Life is so unnerving for a servant who’s not serving” – but I’m here to help!
C’est la fệte! Danielle
