I have linked rooms with family but it still shows them at a different seating time then us will that update? Or do we need to change the reservation to match the seating?

    Hi Justin,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question!

We love sharing the Magic with our friends and family members during our Disney Cruise Line voyages. In fact, we’ve started booking our cruises based on the itineraries we’d like to experience but really with the potential of having other people join us for some fun and sun, Mickey style.

You’ve taken a good first step by making sure that you’ve linked your reservation (and stateroom) with that of the other family travelling with you. If you do want to eat dinner together, then you absolutely need to ensure that everyone has chosen the same dining time, either Main or Second seating. You can change your Dining seating by logging into My Reservations. Then, pick your reservation number, scroll down to the “Dining” section and click on “Change Seating.”

I hope that my answer helps you plan the perfect sailing for you and your entire family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
