    Does lightning lane premier pass work during parties?

    Hiya Goldie!

    Welcome to planDisney! The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is such a flexible way to enjoy the Parks with very little pre-planning! Eligibility to purchase it is now limited to guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and a few other Resorts. 

    I confirmed with a Cast Member that the Lightning Lane Premier Pass can be used during Early Theme Park entry and Special events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I have to say though that wait times during Special events tend to be much lower than during a regular Park day. You may find that it was not needed for quite a few of the attractions and may have been better used during the day. However, I would consider saving the Lightning Lane entry for TRON Lightcycle / Run to use during the Party as it is amazing to ride at night! It is lit up with blue lights and is much more of a magical experience.
