A
very merry welcome to planDisney, John!
You're less than one week away from a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Can you believe it? There's truly nothing more merry than The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. I was fortunate enough to attend my very first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party earlier this month, so I'm happy to share a bit of insight with you!
Whether you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park by bus, boat, monorail, or on foot, you'll need to scan into the theme park before you're able to skip down a snowy Main Street, U.S.A., and MagicBand+ users are easily able to do so at any of the available touchpoints at the park's entrance. If you are entering the Magic Kingdom with a standard theme park ticket or one for a specially-ticketed event such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I'm happy to share that as long as your
MagicBand+ is assigned to the same My Disney Experience account as the ticket, you shouldn't have a problem using the MagicBand+ to enter the theme park. I was able to do so when I attended the party last week! This is also true for scanning into attractions using
Lightning Lane Premier Pass. If you do encounter an issue with your MagicBand+, you can also conveniently redeem the tickets and passes in your My Disney Experience app via
Disney MagicMobile service.
Now that we've addressed how you'll enter the party, I'd love to share a few of my personal highlights with you!
- Clarabelle Cow's rendition of 'All I Want for Christmas is You' during Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration was practically perfect in every merry way.
- If you're looking to pop by a dance party featuring a variety of tunes beloved by adult and tiny Mouseketeers alike, then don't skip Tomorrowland's Club Tinsel. You might even get to share a dance with some beloved characters in their holiday finest.
- The complimentary cocoa and cookies are sure to hit the spot. There are plenty of options to try, so come hungry!
- Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade brought me to (happy, holiday) tears, so be sure to grab a spot early. I always prefer to catch the later parade because the mini merrymakers have all headed to be, so it tends to be less crowded.
I ho-ho-hope this was helpful, John. If you have any additional questions about the party or are in need of suggestions, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Merry Thoughts,
Lizzie
