Greetings, William! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question about Lightning Lane passes. You'll arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort in a flash, so let's look at how the process will work for your party.
It sounds like you're a seasoned planner and purchased
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your group of four. You're ready for a magical adventure! I hope all four of you can experience the theme parks together, but if someone doesn't join you, I have some information to share.
Unfortunately, Lightning Lane passes are nonrefundable, but explaining your situation to
Guest Relations at the theme park entrances never hurts. I like stopping by the blue
Guest Experiences umbrellas for help. Those Cast Members are like Fairy Godparents when it comes to helping guests have fabulous visits.
If the fourth person isn't with you to use the pass, that shouldn't impact the other three guests. All folks who scan into the first experience will be eligible to choose another; if the fourth person hasn't scanned in, they'll show as ineligible. Maybe that final guest will join you later in the day and can use some Lightning Lane passes after all!
This Lightning Lane system is still new and evolving, so please keep that in mind for future trips. I'll visit in a few weeks and can't wait to check it out. My main goal is to experience
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, so I plan to try to join the
virtual queue AND use a Lightning Lane pass to go down the bayou!
William, I'm showering your group with pixie dust and hoping you'll have a fabulous visit...all four of you! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
