Hi! I have a 5-day pass with hopper this coming week, and I purchased a ticket at Hollywood Studios to build a droid. The confirmation said that I also need a valid park reservation for that day, as well. I thought that rule was lifted?

Bright suns, Dana, and welcome to planDisney! I hope your Jedi robes are packed because you'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort in a few parsecs! Let's look at how theme park reservations will work during your visit so you can build a new sidekick at Droid Depot

Guests must have a valid theme park admission to enjoy this experience. Theme park reservations are only required for tickets that are not date-based. You won't need a theme park reservation to Disney's Hollywood Studios if you chose a start date when you purchased your tickets. Annual Passholders and some promotional tickets have a longer use window, so those tickets need theme park reservations.

If you're unsure about having a date-based ticket, I suggest trying to make a theme park reservation on your mobile app. The system typically won't allow guests to make reservations if their ticket doesn't require them to do so. Feel free to call the Existing Tickets line if you have any questions. They can use the Force to determine precisely what you need!

My favorite cold beverage is at Kat Saka's Kettle at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Give the Cold Brew Black Caf a try; a secret tip is to ask for extra Chocolate Puffs!

Dana, thank the maker you found us here at planDisney! We love helping guests plan intergalactic voyages, so please stop by anytime. I have a good feeling about this vacation!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
