Welcome back to planDisney! It's always great to see Guests return with important vacation planning questions, and I'm happy to help. You must be so excited that your Disney adventure is just around the corner—three days away! Right now, I'm answering your question from the airport, heading home from Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm already dreaming about my next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I'm so sorry to hear that your discounted MagicBands have gone missing in the mail! While MagicBands ordered through My Disney Experience can be shipped directly to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel when purchased close to your arrival date, they need to be done six days before your arrival. Since your trip is just a few days away, I recommend swinging like Tarzan straight to your Disney Resort hotel's gift shop! You'll find a selection of MagicBands for the whole family there, or, for an even bigger selection, Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs has a fantastic variety. Of course, you can always wait until you arrive at one of the theme parks, where you'll find additional options. My favorite option is Pin Traders – Camera Center, located towards the main entrance of EPCOT.
Once you've picked out the perfect MagicBands, linking them to your My Disney Experience account is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Open the My Disney Experience app.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Select "MagicBands and Cards."
- Choose "Link Your MagicBand or Card."
- Choose "Open Scanner to Link" and hold the center of your MagicBand to the back of your phone or enter the ID number located on the back of the MagicBand. Assign the band to the correct Guest in your party.
*double-check that you're linking each MagicBand to the correct Guest, as once a band is assigned, it cannot be transferred to another person.
