Hi Candice,
The holiday season at Disney World is extra magical with special events, decadent specialty treats, and decorations galore! Make sure you make the most out of this magical time of the year by visiting the different Disney World Resort hotels to check out each of their uniquely themed decorations.
I see that you already plan to stop by
Disney's Riviera Resort and visit
Le Petit Cafe for coffee and a treat. This is an excellent choice because this resort is beautifully themed and has a relaxing atmosphere where you feel transported to the Mediterranean. I love grabbing my morning cup of coffee here and sitting in the outdoor courtyard to people-watch and snack on their delicious creations. The last time I visited this dining location, I was able to use a Snack from my Disney dining plan for a specialty coffee similar to the one you described. It is not listed on the official list of restaurants that accept the Disney dining plan, so I can not guarantee they will let you use a snack for this, but other people have reported that it was also snack-eligible on recent visits.
While you are visiting, make sure to use the
My Disney Experience app to electronically keep track of your dining plan usage. You are able to see all of your used and remaining meals and snacks by clicking on the "≡" icon at the bottom right corner of the app. You will need to navigate to your "Resort Hotel" and then choose "Check Dining Plan." A listing of your remaining snacks and meals should populate.
If you are planning to spend a day at EPCOT, I recommend saving those Snacks for the
International Festival of the Holidays! This event features Holiday Kitchens with holiday treats from around the world that are all delicious. We love trying as many festive options as possible, and many of these Holiday Kitchens have filling items that are Snack-eligible.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
