Hi Sara, and welcome back to planDisney! I also take my sun protection very seriously and have a strong preference for certain brands of sunscreen. So I totally understand where you’re coming from!
When I was at Disney World last month, I saw a large selection of Coppertone sunscreen sold at the resorts and in the theme parks, including the Water Babies spray. If
Calypso Trading Post at
Caribbean Beach Resort doesn’t have any in stock, you can walk over to the neighboring
Riviera Resort and check
La Boutique. Otherwise, sunscreen is also sold in many theme park gift shops and all of the
Baby Care Centers.
To be sure you’ll have that exact sunscreen at the beginning of your trip, you could
ship a package to Caribbean Beach Resort, from a company like Amazon, or use a grocery delivery service. My family has done both in the past and it’s a convenient way to get essentials we don’t want to bring on the plane, like sunscreen or breakfast food. Note that
currently there’s a $6 fee for a package or grocery delivery received at the resort.
If you opt to ship sunscreen, be sure to include the word “Guest” and your check-in date in the mailing address (which you can get from the
Caribbean Beach Resort website).
When you’re at Disney World next month, you’ll be here during one of the most beautiful times of the year. The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be underway, and it’ll look like Isabela Madrigal used her special gift to cover the park in colorful flowers and plants! Some of my festival must-dos are enjoying the special dishes at the
Outdoor Kitchens, finding all the
Disney character topiaries, and getting the
exclusive Magic Shots (I can’t wait for the
Figment Topiary Magic Shot, which is new for this year!). There’s also a fun
Garden Rocks Concert Series going on as well.
I hope you have a magical visit to Disney World next month, and don’t forget to reapply that sunscreen throughout the day! If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
