Welcome Daniel!
It sounds like you are planning a full day of excitement at Walt Disney World Resort! I'm thrilled that you have trusted us to help you bring the magic of a Pixie Dusted Disney adventure late into the evening.
Keep in mind, Daniel,
three monorail lines that soar around Walt Disney World Resort. First, there is the Express Monorail for the fastest journey between
Magic Kingdom Park and the Transportation and Ticket Center (the TTC for short!) Also departing from Magic Kingdom Park is the Resort Monorail, with stops at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, the Transportation and Ticket Center,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and back to Magic Kingdom Park. Finally, there is the EPCOT Monorail. This last line zooms between the TTC and
EPCOT exclusively.
The two lines with service to Magic Kingdom Park (the Resort Monorail and the Express Monorail) both typically end service about one hour after Magic Kingdom Park closes for the evening. The EPCOT Monorail typically runs for two hours after EPCOT closes. Keep an eye on the theme park closing times for service hours that particular day. Since you will be using transportation between two theme parks, I would be sure to board before the earlier of the two ending times.
To "Ride High in the Sky" from Magic Kingdom Park to Epcot, hop aboard the Express Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and transfer to the EPCOT Monorail for the second leg of your journey.
If you are in need of transportation on an evening when Magic Kingdom Park closes much later than EPCOT, consider a rideshare service like
Disney's Minnie Van by Lyft. This convenient option has a pick-up location designated at the bus stop area of Magic Kingdom Park, just a short walk beyond the Monorail ramps. Plus, who doesn't love a polka-dotted vehicle?
I hope that is helpful, Daniel! Come back and visit us with any other questions. We are here for you!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
