Hi there! We are landing at 3:00 on December 31st. We have a Park Reservation for Magic Kingdom for that day but won't be there before 5. It the Park reaches its capacity before we get there, will we be turned around?

Welcome to planDisney, Melanie, and Happy (early) New Year to you! How exciting to ring in 2024 at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm sure your party will make some unforgettable memories.

I spoke to a Cast Member who's a personal friend of Father Time, and she said you should be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park since you have a Theme Park Reservation for December 31.

The theme park could reach capacity that evening due to the holiday, but guests with valid reservations should be allowed to enter. Policies and procedures are always subject to change and are at the staff's discretion based on safety, so please keep that in mind.

I suggest you head to Magic Kingdom Park as soon as possible. I recently used the Mears Connect shuttle service from the Orlando International Airport. Although it was efficient, I'd recommend using a ride-share service like Lyft to get you there even quicker.

My final tip is to watch the Disney Parks Blog closer to your visit for any announcements about New Year's Eve offerings. You never know when there might be a special fireworks show in honor of the holiday.

Melanie, I'm sending pixie dust and confetti so you'll ring in the New Year in true Disney style! Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
