Hi Tahnaa, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re referring to the exciting news that theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets beginning January 9, 2024.
Guests who already had theme park reservations booked for dates on or after January 9, 2024 will have the reservations automatically removed. You will see in the “My Plans” section of your My Disney Experience account that the reservations are no longer there because they are not necessary! These changes will be reflected in the account of any guest with date-based tickets for visits on or after January 9, 2024.
If you have an Annual Pass, theme park reservations are still required, unless you are planning to arrive at the theme park after 2:00 PM on a weekday. If you are visiting after 2:00 PM on a Saturday or Sunday, theme park reservations are still required for Magic Kingdom Park. Beginning January 11, 2024, Annual Passholders can check the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar for "
good-to-go days" when theme park reservations will not be required.
I hope this was helpful, Tahnaa. If I misunderstood your question, or you have more questions as you continue to plan for your visit, please come back and see us at
