As an WDW annual passholder, if park reservations are no longer available for a chosen weekday, am I still able to visit the park after 2pm regardless without needing one?

Welcome to planDisney, Felipe, and thanks for this great question. As a fellow annual passholder, I'm excited about the recent changes in park hopping and theme park reservations, so let's look at how the new passholder system works.

I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said you should be able to enter any theme park after 2:00 PM without a reservation, regardless of reservation availability. The exception is Magic Kingdom Park on the weekends, but any other park will allow annual passholders to enter after 2:00 PM without a reservation.

Remember that theme park reservation availability is separate from theme parks reaching capacity. I see you are visiting around the holidays, so if a theme park reaches capacity, guests will only be allowed to enter once enough guests exit the park.

You can monitor park capacity in your My Disney Experience Mobile App under the "Park Hours & Info" tile to see if a theme park is allowing entry due to capacity. A friendly Cast Member also shared that guests can call (407) 560-5000 for information about theme park capacity.

One final tip is that starting January 9, 2024, annual passholders can park hop at any time after scanning into their reserved theme park! I plan to use this perk to hop over and join those 1:00 PM virtual queues for TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Felipe, I hope your upcoming visit is joyous and bright. And if you're like me, your annual pass is going to get a workout in the coming year! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
