Boo to you, Jim! Welcome to planDisney! It's a pleasure to assist you with your holiday planning schedule.
Jim, I would suggest starting your Disney vacation a few days before Halloween until about November 2nd or 3rd.
Walt Disney World is pure magic when it comes to holiday transformations, and nowhere is that more true than at
Magic Kingdom. The shift from Halloween to Christmas happens almost overnight. One day, you’re walking down Main Street, U.S.A. surrounded by glowing Mickey pumpkins and fall garlands during
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and by the next morning, the entire park is decked out in sparkling wreaths, garlands, and towering Christmas trees.
This overnight holiday transformation is most dramatic at Magic Kingdom, but it doesn’t happen all at once across the entire Walt Disney World Resort. Other parks and resort hotels gradually start to get their holiday makeover in the days that follow.
As soon as Jack Skellington trades in his spooky flair for his Sandy Claws suit, the rest of the resort begins to sparkle with festive cheer. You’ll start to see garlands go up at
EPCOT, giant ornaments appear at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and larger-than-life trees twinkle in the lobbies of the Disney Resort hotels. By mid-November, it’s full-on holiday mode everywhere, complete with seasonal treats, themed merchandise, and special entertainment. It’s truly one of the most magical times to visit!
Jim, have the most magical Hallo-Christmas time at Disney! If you find that you need more assistance with your trip, please stop by and visit with us again soon!
Toodles,
Korliss
