Hiya, Alexandra! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sharing your delicious dining plan question with us!
We’re big fans of the Disney Dining Plans in my family. Figuring out how to use all our different dining credits has become a fun part of our planning process (spreadsheets might be involved…). Not only does the dining plan help us plan out our snacks and meals, but it can also be a great value if restaurants and dining are part of the Disney magic for you.
You are correct that a single-serving alcoholic beverage is included with each meal under the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan for guests 21 years and older. This includes beer or cider, wine or sangria, mixed drinks, and specialty cocktails. It’s important to remember that these beverages must be purchased with your meal from a quick-service location. Don’t hesitate to ask a cast member if you’re unsure if a particular beverage is covered by a dining plan. I know some specialty cocktails are served in souvenir mugs, and the dining plan page specifies that souvenir containers are not covered.
If you’re looking for a great quick-service dining option and a place to enjoy an adult beverage, I would heartily recommend
Geyser Point Bar & Grill To Go at Wilderness Lodge. The food and views are delightful. There’s also
Flame Tree Barbecue at Animal Kingdom, which has a wide array of drink options and a great seating area overlooking the lagoon and Expedition Everest.
Enjoy your upcoming Walt Disney World Adventure, Alexandra! I hope you have a delicious and magical time! You can always pop right back to planDisney if you have any other vacation planning questions, and be sure to check out
