Is the Jolly nights/Jingle Jam at Hollywood studios an adult only event? Would this event be fun for 3 kids under 6?

Well hello again Christine and a very warm welcome back to planDisney!

It's been so great to see so many of your questions come in recently, especially with our planDisney pals giving their best recommendations on attractions and dining, as well as can't-miss Christmastime happenings even if you're not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for this very special birthday celebration for your youngest child. It really is so wonderful that you're taking the time to make sure that this holiday experience is a magical one for all of them on your upcoming trip!

This year we announced the debut of Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios to kick off our Halfway to the Holidays celebration, and I'm absolutely happy to shed a little extra light on it for you! From what I can tell you at the current time, this is a brand-new event with a focus on immersive experiences, character appearances and even some dare I say it - spooky surprises in store. These exclusive, limited-time events are often open to all ages and will be confirmed (with possible discounted pricing for guests under 10 years of age) when tickets go on sale online on July 6. As to whether this is an event that would be fun for attendees under the age of 6, it truly depends on the child and you'd likely know them best; here are a few things that might be helpful for you to think about:

    • Will the kids be ready and willing to stay up later in the evening? The majority of the event takes place in the dark of night between 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, with the ability to enter as early as 7:00 PM to get a bit of a head start! (Due to the cost of the limited length of the event, revelers may make the most of it if they can last until the end.)
    • There may be themed areas that might add in a sprinkle of festive holiday fright in the whimsical spirit of The Nightmare Before Christmas and a ghostly Twilight Zone transformation of the courtyard of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, so it'll definitely depend on whether the kids enjoy a bit of ghoulish delight during the night!
Whatever you decide in the end, be sure to get plenty of rest ahead of this holiday birthday trip extraordinaire and don't hesitate to come back to us again at planDisney for more advice, tips or tricks Christine!

Wishing you a Holly Jolly time here over the holidays!
