How
art you doing, Catherine?!
I'm so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question about
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! I am really
drawn to this festival, and I'm glad to hear you are, too! From delectable cuisine that looks as gorgeous as it tastes at the
Food Studios to rolling up your sleeves and becoming an artist yourself at the
Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural, you're going to have a colorful time!
Catherine, I love to meet the artists, too; it's one of my favorite things to do during the festival. Purchasing their work and getting the artist to sign it makes it feel like a personal experience. I recently spoke about the first piece I bought while meeting Disney artist Jerrod Maruyama from the festival on planDisney's podcast!
Meeting the artists isn't a difficult thing to do; it's pretty delightful. However, if you're going during the weekend, I recommend making it your priority. Be sure to check the artists' social media pages for the dates and the area they plan on meeting, and then head over there upon arrival. That way, you're sure to meet your favorite artists first! Another tip I love giving is if you're traveling from out of town and don't want to ruffle up your purchased art piece(s), Disney will ship the artwork home to you for a nominal fee. It's also nice because when the package arrives once you're home, it helps beat the post-Disney vacation blues!
There's so much to do, I don't want you to miss a thing. For more information on the offerings, please open up your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, scroll down until you see EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and select "Learn More." You can scroll through several offerings you may find enjoyable, and at the bottom of the page, you will find a map showing you all the festival offerings by location.
I'm
etching for you to meet all your favorite artists, Catherine! Have an enchanting visit!
