Hi there, Luke!
Thank you for contacting planDisney, and welcome to the Magic Key family! Having a Magic Key pass makes it easy to visit Disneyland Resort many times throughout the year. I also make sure to take advantage of the
applicable discounts on food and merchandise whenever I am in the parks. Those discounts give me an excuse to buy "just one more" spirit jersey...because I'm saving money, right??
The policies and rules for Magic Key passes at Disneyland Resort are different from the rules for theme park tickets and Annual Passes at Walt Disney World Resort. I know it can be tricky figuring out the nuances when you visit both resorts! Guests with
Inspire Passes can hold up to six theme park reservations at a time, regardless of whether or not they are staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel.
After scanning your Magic Key pass and entering a theme park, you should be able to make another park reservation for a different day (subject to park availability). Many Guests visit Disneyland Resort during the holidays, and theme park reservations may become unavailable. If that happens, keep checking the
theme park reservation calendar, as Magic Key passholders often cancel reservations the day before their arrival date to avoid a
"no-show" penalty. You can also try stopping by
Guest Relations to see if they have other options for you.
Did you know that there is a dining location just for Magic Key passholders and their Guests?
Magic Key terrace is located in Disney California Adventure Park and has delicious snacks and tasty beverages. It also offers a pleasant view of the theme park, especially during the
holiday season. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance on the
Disneyland website or the
Disneyland app.
Luke, I am sorry this was not quite the news you were hoping for. I hope you can visit Disneyland Resort every day during your upcoming visit. You may also want to consider a hotel-only day, as the pools are fantastic and the food options are aplenty at the
Disneyland Hotel. It is also only a short walk away from the
Downtown Disney District.
Happy holidays!
Jen
